Global Warming, The Recession, Cut Backs, Job losses, Bad Weather there is alot of doom & gloom hanging in the air these days, thats why ArtMart Studios are presenting their new exhibition HAPPY PLACE.
We call to artists and people with a creative streak to create an image of their Happy Place in any media of their choice on a standard blank A6 postcard. The objective is to fill the gallery walls with postcards of Happy Places.
Opening night will be on the 23rd of January 2010 at 7.00pm.
The exhibition will continue from the 25th - 30th of January 2010.
Opening times 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Images will be later added to a special made HAPPY PLACE website.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
-Create an image of your Happy Place in any media of your choosing on a blank postcard, standard A6 (Appox. 14.05 x 10.03 cm) size.
-Put your name, title and media on the back of the postcard. Selling the postcard is completely up to you, if you wish to sell add price to the back of the postcard.
-For the website include a statement with your name and a short description telling us about your Happy Place and why its your Happy Place. Feel free to add your website/Blog address we'll add this as a link from our Happy Place website.
If you want your postcard returned to you add a return address on the statement.
-You can submit up to two postcards.
